Wheelers Green engaged Concept to design and build their new family-owned optometry business in the Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre in Melbourne’s East. Specialising in advanced eye testing technologies and offering an extensive selection of eyewear from top brands, Wheelers Green needed a space that seamlessly integrated treatment rooms with a premium retail experience.
At Concept, we embraced transformed this vision into reality with a design that combines functionality and aesthetics. We incorporated striking green feature walls strategically placed to lead customers from the front of the store to the treatment rooms at the back, creating a seamless and intuitive flow throughout the space. Full-length mirrors were installed to enhance the shopping experience, allowing customers to try on glasses and see their reflections from all angles. We also integrated painted arches to frame the eyewear collection, adding a distinctive and artistic element to the overall design.
Our custom joinery solutions serve a dual purpose: they display the eyewear elegantly while providing ample storage for stock, ensuring a tidy and organized retail environment. We also implemented strategic lighting to accentuate the products, enhancing their visibility and appeal.
