With a vision to create an inviting and collaborative space, Concept Commercial Interiors helped the Australian Psychological Society (APS) design the ultimate workspace.
The recent pandemic has fundamentally changed the way many businesses work, with APS being no exception. To honour these changes, APS wanted to create an office environment for employees to collaborate and celebrate in, with focus work being primarily done at home.
A sense of calmness and positivity was vital, with desks having access to daylight, meeting rooms on perimeter walls, and glazed enclosed rooms, all offering light and bright spaces to boost that ‘feel good’ hormone, serotonin.
A substantial storage requirement was met with custom-designed storage cupboards, doubling up as division screens between casual meeting spaces and workspace, offering an opportunity for greenery display to create a biophilic feel.
