Oh, what a night! The Concept team were thrilled to join Melbourne’s design community last week for the Polytec Design awards. With so many beautiful, innovative and superbly executed spaces in the mix, we are honoured to have End Of Trip at 287 Collins named as a Commercial Finalist.
The project featured Polytec’s Casentino Beech Woodmatt laminate. A single finish used generously throughout the facilities to complement the 10,000 tiles of elegant Calcutta-inspired vertical stacks and intricate hexagon mosaic tiling and brushed brass finishes, all evoking a refined and elegant palette paying homage to the art deco building origins.
Hot off the heels of winning Gold in the Better Futures Melbourne Design Awards, this project is a great example of collaboration and teamwork. A big thank you to all the parties involved in creating such a special people-powered space – from our designer Susan Illingworth, Technical Designer Peter Tilmanis, Project Manager Shaun Geleit and Project Support Sarah Moyes to DBR, BGH Melbourne and JLL for entrusting us with this great project.
We could not have done it without our broader team and supplier partners- Suba Design, Five at Heart, Alykan Electrical Solutions, ST Walls & Ceilings, Deluxe Painters and of course Polytec!
