We are thrilled to announce that we are winners of the Polytec Design Awards 2021! The Concept x Vinomofo project won the People’s Choice Award for the Vic Commercial category, as well as being awarded as an overall Finalist in the Vic Professional category.
We are delighted to be associated with a fellow Australian brand in Polytec, the fastest growing brand in the decorative surfaces category. This prestigious award recognizes beautiful design in both the commercial and residential fields. For over five years, this award has crowned some of the best design work in Australia utilising their market-leading products. These awards highlight and forecast some of the present and emerging trends in the interior design and architectural space.
Another great Australian brand, wine retailer Vinomofo, reached out to Concept to design and deliver their new people-powered workspace. Vinomofo wanted to create an environment where their team could celebrate and socialize, yet still collaborate and concentrate. The refurbished soap factory provided an industrial backdrop, while wine was, of course, the star of the design. Concept included rounded booths to represent the shape and texture of wine barrels, a grass roof on the boardroom to evoke a vineyard environment, and a kitchen reminiscent of a wine cellar. A custom-made wine rack stands as a hero entrance piece. All the elements work together to reflect this iconic retailer’s vision and brand DNA.
The awards were filled with over 450 amazing applicants from all over Australia, and Concept is both honored to have won and grateful to all those who showed their support by voting.
