534 m²Concept partnered with Waterman to deliver a new 534 sqm co-working hub in Mont Albert, designed to reflect both the Waterman brand and the unique vibrancy of its location.
The brief called for a space that maximised the number of suites while ensuring flow, acoustic comfort, and clear zoning across membership areas. A feature metal mesh ceiling in the breakout area set the tone, with each detail designed to balance function with a distinctive identity.
The design concept drew inspiration from the world of artists — playful, textured, and layered with colour. Emerald greens and terracotta oxides anchor the palette, evoking creativity and prestige, while the materials selected are all about durability.
Highlights include the bespoke kitchen hub, acoustically enhanced meeting rooms and boardroom, and a welcoming front-of-house defined by feature paintwork. Membership areas benefit from acoustic ceilings and flooring, ensuring comfort for focus and collaboration alike.
The project’s main challenge lay in working with the existing building — navigating angled layouts and columns while still achieving efficient suite layouts. The result is a dynamic, functional workspace that balances creativity and professionalism, offering members an inspiring place to connect, work, and thrive.
