A Hospitality-led Communal Floor
Project overview
Building on our earlier work for Linktree, Concept delivered Level 8 as a communal, hospitality-led floor that supports team connection, events and day-to-day collaboration. The level centres on a slick bar and dining area, a fully equipped commercial kitchen, and an expansive, window-lined meeting space that can be reconfigured to suit everything from workshops to all-hands.
The brief
Create a high-energy, brand-aligned floor that brings people together, a place for informal catch-ups, team rituals and larger gatherings, while remaining practical, durable and easy to reconfigure.
Our approach
We planned Level 8 as a sequence of flexible zones: hospitality at the heart to draw people in, supported by a commercial-grade kitchen for events, and a perimeter, window-lined meeting room that transforms as needs change. Services, lighting and AV were coordinated to make changeovers simple, with robust finishes selected for high daily use.
Design & materiality
A confident, contemporary palette reflects Linktree’s bright and innovative culture. Purple tiled pillars punctuate the floor and anchor the hospitality zones; warm timber tones and stone-look surfaces add durability and tactility; soft upholstery and textured wall finishes bring comfort; and a clean lighting scheme layers task and ambient light for day-to-night use.
