Assured Insurance Brokers wanted their Collins Street office to feel more premium and more social, somewhere to entertain clients, without pulling apart what already worked. The brief was to lift the key areas, not start again.

Refresh 230 square metres by upgrading only the areas that carry the experience, keep as much of the existing fitout as possible, and hold it within a set budget. Add two offices, a new bar for hosting clients and events, and a dark, warm palette that ties into the space already there.

Concept concentrated the budget where clients and staff feel it. A new bar anchors the entertaining space, its smoked mirror splashback and LED strip lighting giving the room a warm, low glow after hours. Switch glass to the offices turns opaque when a meeting needs privacy and clear again for an open floor. New carpet runs throughout, with new furniture, joinery and signage to the existing glazing and reception tying the refresh back to what stayed. Two new offices were added without disturbing the rest of the plan. Working within the existing fitout and its conditions kept the budget in check, so the premium reads in the detail rather than across every surface.

Assured gained a darker, more premium office with a dedicated bar for hosting clients and events, delivered within budget by keeping most of the existing fitout in place. The upgrade lifted the client-facing areas without the cost or disruption of a full rebuild.
