Elgas, a leading supplier of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Australia and New Zealand, sought to downsize and optimise their workspace. Their vision was to create a more efficient and collaborative environment that reflected their brand and supported their employees’ needs.
The design approach focused on creating a flexible, functional, and visually appealing space that would foster collaboration and efficiency, making use of every available inch. This ultimately enables Elgas to reduce overhead costs and provide their team with a beautiful, refreshed space.
Key Design Elements:
- Modern Aesthetic: Our designer incorporated sleek black strapping on glass partitions, black ceiling tiles, and quality finishes such as feature lighting and brass accents throughout.
- Warm Timber Tones: To balance the black and glass elements, we used warm timber tones in the kitchen joinery, workstation surfaces, and feature partitions.
- Collaborative Spaces: Curved walls and flooring encourage cross-functional communication and flow throughout the space.
Challenges and Solutions:
- Space Optimisation: Downsizing the office required careful planning to maximise efficiency.
- Existing Sign Integration: The existing Elgas sign was successfully incorporated into the new design. The addition of purple LEDs to make the branding really pop.

- Improved Efficiency: The renovated office provided a more efficient and functional workspace, reducing overhead costs for the client.
