Project Overview

Harmony Investments engaged Concept to refresh two existing office suites in Armadale, ensuring they aligned with the newly renovated lobby and presented as inviting, contemporary workplaces for incoming tenants. The brief focused on selective interventions — uplifting key areas, improving functionality and creating a seamless transition between old and new.

Suite A – Timeless, Warm and Cohesive

Suite A retains its original kitchen, enhanced with subtle updates to maintain its charm while elevating the overall aesthetic. Improvements include:

• New quiet rooms

• Refurbished comms cupboard

• Updated flooring, wall finishes and sheer curtains

• A more appealing entry and waiting area

• A refreshed boardroom that ties the suite together

The palette is timeless and grounded, using light materials and soft textures to complement the existing structure.

Suite B – Minimal, Bright and More Transformative

Suite B features a lighter, more minimal look, centred on:

• A brand-new kitchen and breakout area

• A floor-to-ceiling timber and metal display shelf separating breakout and workstation zones

• Upgraded comms rack and utility bench

• Decorative lighting to instantly modernise the space

This suite leased shortly after completion, demonstrating strong alignment between design strategy and market demand.

Materiality & Experience

Both suites use light, cohesive palettes to blend with retained elements and create fresh, approachable environments. Organic timber textures ground the spaces, while colour is added through loose furniture and soft furnishings for flexibility.

The result is two refined, functional and market-ready workplaces that elevate the asset without extensive reconstruction.
