We at Concept believe that workspaces should be more than just buildings; they should be inspiring environments that foster creativity, collaboration, and a sense of community. That’s why we were incredibly excited to embark on a transformative journey – the renovation of our very own Melbourne headquarters. This project wasn’t just about creating a new office; it was an opportunity to put our own design philosophy into action and demonstrate what we can achieve for our clients.

The Melbourne headquarters was designed to serve as a living showcase of our capabilities, allowing clients to experience firsthand the quality of our work. However, it was equally important to create an inviting and inspiring environment that encouraged our team to return to the office and embrace the benefits of in-person collaboration.

Key elements of the transformation include:

• A welcoming and inspiring entrance: The entrance area sets the tone, showcasing various design options and materials, such as Kit Kat tiles and elegant strapping details, to inspire client conversations.
• The Hub: A dynamic space for client interactions: With its striking curved black walls and inviting oval seating, The Hub cultivates a sense of connection and encourages immersive client experiences.
• The 8P Meeting Room: This luxurious executive meeting room, with its sweeping views and high-quality finishes, offers a sophisticated setting for client presentations and strategic discussions, encouraging in-person collaboration and crafting a sense of shared purpose. It also serves as a tangible example of standard 8ppl meeting rooms, so prospective clients can picture their future space with clarity.
• A focus on employee well-being: The workspace incorporates thoughtful design elements that promote employee well-being and encourage regular office attendance, such as a dedicated wellness room with calming pink walls and grounding matt, and spaces throughout the office to accommodate whichever working style best suits the team.
• The Kitchen Breakout: This versatile space seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetic appeal. Designed with employee well-being in mind, it encourages social interaction and a sense of community while supporting various work activities like town halls, team lunches, and celebrations. Interstate and international teams can be included in all the fun with screens and cameras seamlessly integrated to all guests to join in virtually.
• A design studio that inspires: The design studio itself is a testament to our creative process, featuring a curated library, workstations and collaborative workspaces, encouraging team members to utilize the space for both individual and collaborative work.
