Concept are thrilled to support Cool.org, an incredible organisation dedicated to empowering Australian teachers and inspiring students.
We were lucky enough to have had Founder Jason Kimberley and CEO Thea Stinear come into our new Melbourne office to showcase Cool.org’s important work to the Concept team and community at our housewarming event last month.
Cool.org has been making waves in Australian education since 2008 by creating high-quality, curriculum-aligned resources. Their mission to equip teachers with the tools they need to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in their students deeply resonates with us.
One of our core goals at Concept is to create people-powered workspaces that positively impact the lives of those within them. Cool.org brings to life this same philosophy, on an even larger scale.
Why we’re excited about what they do:
- Supporting Teachers: Cool.org provides invaluable resources to educators, especially those in under-resourced areas.
- Real-World Learning: Cool.org design lessons to help students develop practical skills for the future.
- Inspiring Change: Cool.org empowers students to become active citizens and make a positive impact on the world.
- Tackling Tough Topics: Cool.org aren’t afraid to address the important but potentially sensitive topics like mental health, climate change, and social justice, although they do so in a psychologically safe way, using their Hope Framework to foster resilience and optimism.
We’re thrilled to support Cool.org in their mission to create a brighter future. Together, we’re moving beyond designing spaces – we’re actively fostering a more inclusive, sustainable, and progressive world.
